Kandiyohi County Pheasants Forever supports 5 youth High School Clay Target League teams. We also hold Youth Trap day on the first weekend in August each year.

Calendar of Events

Annual Banquet

2025 Annual Banquet will be held again at the Willmar Conference Center on April 5, 2025,If you have any suggestions for next year please click on one of the emails listed and leave us a message. If you are interested in becoming a local Pheasants Forever committee member we will gladly welcome you and any help you may be willing to give.

Saturday April 5, 2025 at the Willmar Confernence Center, crowing hour starts at 5:00 Dinner served at 7:15. A great night to visit with friends and help support our conservation and youth agenda. Bring your children, we have the Laser Shot game scheduled, a hit with the kids at they try their skill on the Flushing Pheasants. The youth raffle is free to all registered youth attending.

 

August, watch for updates

Youth Camp held each year at Prairie Woods Enviromental Learning Center. Starting at 8:00 am ending about 12:00 noon. Youth get to shoot at the sporting clays range, the .22 rifle range, the climbing wall and many other outdoor activities planned.

 

October

Youth Mentor Hunt

Youth are paired up with adults with dogs and will hunt for Pheasants and attempt a enjoyable successful hunt.
